Bounce Rate
In one line
The share of visits where someone leaves without further interaction.
In older analytics a bounce was a single-page visit. A high rate can signal mismatched intent or poor experience, but a quick exit from a page that fully answered the query can be perfectly fine. GA4 favours engagement rate instead.
